Fabulous meal and service. We decided to try Olga's for lunch and are very happy we did. The Greek fries are worth the upgrade and the original Olga is great!

Having gone to Olga's for years, at least a couple times a year, I have a craving for it. Went here the other day for the third or fourth time. No complaints yet, service was fast and friendly, place was very clean, and the food was good. Have also done the online ordering and curbside pickup, works great.

Peasant soup was excellent, almost stew like it was so full of meat and veggies! The free bread pudding is sinfully chocolatey and gooey! The attention to my meal and comfort by the wait staff is to notch. Great first time, thanks Olgas!

I love the fact that they offer online ordering and it usually is ready right when I get there. Some of the employees are well-mannered, but others can be a bit unprofessional. I feel all their offers and deals could be better executed. Many employees seem confused by how to process them. Food is average. Would only buy it if I'm in a hurry.

After getting through traffic from Detroit airport and shopping at trader joes nearby, we saw Olga's cafe or a pizza place. Went inside Olga's, looked at the menu, sat down and looked at the menu more. Finally picked a sandwich and at the last minute noticed a combination meal option (can't remember what it was called) at the bottom of the sandwich list. 1/2 an Olga's sandwich, plus two sides of your choice for $7--sometoohing. Wow! I got the Mediterokranean plus Olga's salad and Greek fries. ~ Salad was a good size. ~ Sandwich was bigger than expected for a half. Olga bread was a soft pita texture minus a pocket and delicious. The meat was soft and tasty - everything was moist, fresh, and delicious. ~ Fries were awesome too, if only I had room to eat them all. Took them to go for my husband to snack on later tho. He enjoyed them and wanted to know where we went. Happened to remember to check-in on Yelp and found this FREE DESSERT coupon. I showed it to the waitress and she new exactly what it was. I live in a less yelp aware city so I was glad to not have to explain it and also that she didn't even flinch when I showed her the coupon on my phone. We ordered a cinnamon bread pudding to go for my husband. One container plus a couple small separated sauces. They like containers here. My husband loved it. I think he was wishing he could have eaten here too. I will definitely be back to Olga's with my husband. Maybe even my kids. Might have to try other locations if I am not going to trader joes though. I am still drooling and craving to try more food there even though I just ate there earlier this evening. The best part? $20 bill, plus change and tip. I think those who complain about price didn't notice the combination option. So worth it. I think they should encourage and point out to customers. Or make a bigger sign or insert. It was hard to find. Happy tummy.

In the 36 years I've lived in Metro Detroit, I've never set foot inside an Olga's... until today. I decided to get an Original, and double-combo it to try both soups. When I checked in on Yelp, I was offered a free dessert, so lunch wound up being this crazy feast for like, ten bucks. Yes, it's maybe a little expensive if you want just a wrap, but if you add on from there, it's actually not expensive at all. The broccoli soup was pretty great. It didn't have quite a pre-made taste or consistency, which impressed me. The peasant soup, on the other hand, was reminiscent of a microwaved can of Chunky vegetable beef soup. Though it alleges to have lamb, it was what I can only describe as "brown and otherwise nondescript". The Original Olga is hard to nail down. The lamb was almost rubbery with mild seasoning. The Olga Sauce is apparently just plain yogurt, and the bread had an almost unsettling sweetness to it. I could be biased though, as it was nothing remotely resembling the grandeur of a gyro from Graceland Party Shoppe in White Lake. (Seriously, if you ever find yourself near White Lake and even kind of like gyros, you've gotta stop in.) I opted for the brownie on the free dessert, and have five plastic containers before me. One with a brownie, one with a slab of ice cream that -- disturbingly -- hasn't melted in the 45 minutes it's been on my desk, and three smaller containers with caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and crushed peanuts. The brownie tasted like it came from a vending machine, and was put in the microwave for a few seconds. I don't hate vending machine brownies, but I'd pass on the brownie in the future. I'd go back for that soup, though.

I love Olga's, and have been eating here for as long as I can remember. This was my first time at this particular location, but their food and service is pretty consistent. My mom and I came here for lunch today, and it was delicious as always. We both went with the Original Olga, but my mom got the Broccoli soup and I went with curly fries. The Olga was delicious, and I ate the whole darn thing, as did my mom. She loved her soup, and the snackers were tasty as well. Also, since I checked in on Yelp, we also got a free desert! We had the Birmingham brownie, which came with ice cream, whipped cream and carmel sauce, and tasted delicious! Overall I really like dining here, and over the years their food has always been a staple to me. The service here was wonderful, and I plan on returning in the future. Keep it up Olga's, I love you!

After a bad experience last time, I decided to give Olgas a second try, I called for a carryout. My old Olgas in Southfield was so good. But this Auburn Hills one is horrible. The person on the phone had no clue about the menu items. After a couple minutes, she admitted that she was new and could get someone else on the phone. Great idea. The person who came to the phone after 5 more minutes said "what is it that you need." Very rude and immature. Just like last time when I went in to order a carryout, place was dead, but yet no one wanted to take my order. I have no clue how this place survives in an area filled with restaurants. I will not make the same mistake a third time. Please Olgas get some people in here that actually want to work. With OU across the street, I'm sure you can find some nicer people.

Casual dining atmosphere, good and quick service. Food was pretty good. I had a steak and cheese wrap. That includes a side, either fries or a salad. I also tried a cup of cream of broccoli soup. All were good. Some reviewers complained about the value for the food but I thought it was reasonably priced.

Me thinks not is right on! -- go somewhere else! I am still trying to figure out how we left this place with an almost 30 dollar bill when all we got were one medicore wrap and one disgusting wrap, and some greasy fries. We only drank water too! This was probably worth 10 dollars not 30. The waiter was trying way too hard to be humorous - this restaurant doesn't even need waiters. I would eat anywhere else but this place -- even McDonalds. On follow up....the owner comments below through the Yelp site and never bothers to actually follow up with me and ask why I rate the restaurant the worse possible rating! Worse place I've been to in a long time.

The food is alright, and the service is decent. It's a little overpriced, especially considering that it's right next to a university. There have been fruit fly problems more than once while I was eating.

I'm sorry, if native Detroiters (or whatever they're called) consider Olga's a must-eat, I feel very very sorry for you. Olga's is not much more than a pseudo-Mediterranean version of Panera. I was going to order the "Original" but when my coworker (who's a native) said that it's not a "real" gyro (e.g. what you can find in Chicago), I decided to pass. Why would anyone screw around with something that is already perfect? I got the Grilled Chicken instead... it was just okay; it made me not hungry any more and that's about the most positive thing I can say about it. The snackers looked ridiculously unhealthy. Why the heck would you smother decent bread with all that "seasoning" crap? Olga's is for your typical unadventurous suburbanite.

I LOVE OLGA'S. Granted, I order the exact same thing every time I go. I should reevaluate that statement. I LOVE THE ORIGINAL OLGA SANDWICH AND OLGA SNACKERS. There, that's the truth. I try to avoid eating the same thing over and over again at a restaurant, but really, I know I'll be disappointed if I don't get it - so why mess with something that works? I could drink the sauce that goes on the Original Olga sandwich. It seems to be their version of tzatziki, but instead of a garlic flavor, it's very lemony. Likewise, the swiss almond spread that goes with the Olga Snackers is amazing.

I've never been a fan of Olga's... maybe it's a "I'm used to more for my money" thing, but there's nothing truly special about this place. For the chow: I really do not like the menu. Not worth the money. As of late, I found a semi-worthy deal: unlimited soup, salad and snackers for around $8 during dinnertime. Nothing like Olive Garden's version, but suitable. The portions are small, so I feel like a pig asking for two refills of everything (but I don't care because I want to at least feel like I had more to eat than an appetizer). For those who use it as a study/work area: Had a meeting after work at the restaurant (not my choice) and the wifi wasn't working, nor did it start working after I let the waitress know. The stars - one for the nice remodel and ok staff (the manager on duty was very attentive; the waitress, not so much) and one for the Orange Cream Cooler. Only reason why I spend around $20 a decade at this place - for the once every few years OCC.

I've been going to this Olga's for about once or twice a week on average the past 4 months. In December it was great and January not bad either, but the last two months, especially lately(March 2013) it has been bad and still declining. My most recent visit I had to send my sandwich back because the chicken was to hard to chew. Also a father at a table near me with 3 little girls found a hair in his sandwich but was nice enough not to send his sandwich back. Not sure what they are doing but they better fix this Olga's fast. It's definitely on it's way out. Good luck eating here if you choose this place. Employees looked overwhelmed, while management sat at a table simply visiting with each other. I don't recommend spending the high amount of money on the food/unenthusiastic service. Maybe 2 months ago, but not anymore.

nice employees, very good food, form all the Greek restaurants I have tried this one is the best ,from inside it has nice design,it's a chain with reward card which is a good idea, you'll get 5$ when you register then almost every 30$ you get 1 $ off something, not bad at all..and the food is really tasty, even better than the other olgas in the area

This would definitely be five stars from me if only I could afford to eat there on a regular basis. If I get everything I want, it tends to be a pricey meal-that is my only complaint! They have had a great deal where you get three items (starter, entree and dessert) from a list of choices which has worked out to be budget friendly. My must haves are the zucchini fries or the snackers for a starter and I always love the asian chicken. The original is also a big favorite of others when I go, however, I don't eat lamb-they are just too cute! The portions are perfect, I always end up full and have a little bit left over to snack on later. Service is wonderful and my favorite lady was always Lisa at the front counter, she knows how to make a mean smoothie! My tip is to get an Olga's card if you go there often, as well as a smoothie punch card-it is worth it. You can also order out and have it dropped off at your car, I've done that on several occasions and they have always spotted me real quick. Highly recommend!

If you're a visitor to Michigan or the Detroit area, Olga's should definitely be on your "must eat" list! I was so excited when they decided to put a location in this corner strip mall near Oakland University! The Olga bread that all of the sandwiches are prepared on is like crack- a few bites and you'll be addicted (a sweet flatbread like no other). For a truly indulgent snack, try the snackers and cheese with an orange cooler. If you want something Greek, go for the Olga salad (w/ feta & olives) and original Olga (gyro). Definitely choose the curly fries over the regular fries. For young kids, ask for a PB&J Olga. The open face Terijaki, Fajita, or Burger Olga's are generally too big for me to finish in one sitting and a little bit messy to share, but they are oh so tasty. My mom loves the Spinach Pie more than anything. I've never had a bad meal at Olga's, and every time I come home I have to get my fix. One small note for newbies: even though you may sit down and have a server at a table, you generally have to take your check up to a cashier to pay for your meal.
